Have you always wanted to learn more about Northwoods-Great Lakes of Minnesota?  Then this is a great opportunity for you.  Class will cover: geology, plants, animals, water, exotics, ecology, and more.  Come and learn with a group of like-minded adults and share your knowledge of the Northwoods.    

 

Dates, Times, and Location:

  • Thursdays, September 18 - December 4, 2008
  • 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. 
  • Two required field trips - Saturday, September 27 and Saturday, October 25 

  

Class will be held at the EPA lab in Duluth.  Attendance at all sessions is required.  Upon completing the class, Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers are required to do 40 hours of volunteer service each year to maintain an active status.
